Good experience here about 18 months ago

Had Malware on another computer a while back… got it fixed by you guys after about 3 sessions. What a good experience! Now I have Verizon security package on that one and all has been well for over a year and it's STILL good! My son caught some adware that blurts out soap commercials at us every few minutes… weird. I have a current Web Root license and installed that and it removed a few trojan horses and tracking cookies, but I think there may still be something on that that's causing the :soap: ads. I haven't heard any ads for an hour or so, so I am going to update my XP at MS Update and see what happens. I may need some help soon, but it seems quiet right now…G~2

It's not a good idea to update your operating system while you may be infected.
Far better to head on over to our Malware Removal Forum and assure that the machine gets cleaned up properly first.
