From the date 19th of May 2009 my Web browsers didnt work, i first thought it was something to do wid my bitdefender as it didnt load on startup , i uninstalled it and my IE started working but not my Firefox, i dont a Malwarebytes scan and it found some trojans but not the one that is still infecting my pc. i reinstalled bitdefender and it found a Trojan Virus called Trojan.Clicker.OM. it wasnt able to delete this so i wanted to manually delete it i went into my C:\Documents and Settings\KaO$\Local Settings\temporary internet files , but i couldnt find the folder containing this virus the source of the virus is under a file called Content.IE5/popup[1].html

Pay a visit to the Kaspersky Online Scanner 7 - I.E. is preferred for this scan.
  • Read the Information panel and then click Accept.
  • Allow the ActiveX download if necessary.
  • Both the anti-virus engine and database will need to be downloaded, which may take a little time.
  • Once this has been completed, select My Computer from the Scan section on the left hand side.
  • Put the kettle on!
  • Although it is recommended by Kaspersky that you should disable your anti-virus scanner before starting this scan, it should work OK with it still active - it does on my PC.
    Although you may find the scan speed increases if you carry out this step, I never like to disable my resident scanner while online, so I don't.
  • When the scan has completed, click View scan report at the bottom.
  • Click Save Report As…
  • Enter a name for the file in the Filename: text box and then click the down arrow to the right of Save as type: and select text file (*.txt)
  • Click Save and pick a location for the file - the Desktop is always handy.
Copy and paste the report into your next reply along with a fresh HJT log, run in Normal Mode, and a description of how your PC is behaving.

Note for Internet Explorer 7 users: If at any time you have trouble with the accept button of the licence, click on the Zoom tool located at the right bottom of the IE window and set the zoom to 75 %. Once the license accepted, reset to 100%.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Download Sec-Info.zip from here and save it to your Desktop. You will need to extract the file.
Right click on the zipped folder and from the menu that appears, click on Extract All…
In the 'Extraction Wizard' window that opens, click on Next> and in the next window that appears, click on Next> again.
In the final window, click on Finish
You should now see a folder with a .vbs file in it. Double click Sec-info.vbs to run it and a text file called Sec-Info.txt should be created in the same folder - either that or you'll get an error message.
Please copy and paste the contents of the text file into your next reply and then you can delete both of the folders and their contents.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Run HJT and click on Open the Misc Tools section.
  • Click Open Uninstall Manager…
  • Click Save list… and save it to your Desktop.
  • Copy and paste the file uninstall_list.txt into your next reply.

ok all my antivirus softwares are working and i scan wid bitdefender everyday and i dont seem to find any trojans as i have manually deleted them through cmdreg, but my mozila still doesnt work with the error PROXY SERVER REFUSED CONNECTION , my I.E is working fine but i still have that issue
Open Firefox and do the following:

Go to Tools > Options… > Advanced Icon. Select the Network Tab and under Connections click Settings….
Make sure that the No Proxy radio button is selected, if not you know what to do. This should hopefully solve the problem - let me know if it does.
lads u lot are a start honestly just wanna recommend you lot to all my friends excellent help excellent instructions thanks lads :D 10/10 id kiss u lot know if i had the chance :D btw the virus i had at the beginining i had to manually remove it because it was invisible in the first place well anyways thanks lads
Your log doesn't appear to show a third-party software firewall installed - if you have one, and i've missed it, please ignore this.
If you are relying the firewall that comes with Service Pack 2, then you need to install one. While the SP2 firewall is better than nothing, it doesn't monitor outgoing traffic, so anything malicious on your computer can 'phone home' at will.
If you are using a wireless router that comes with a NAT hardware firewall, this also doesn't monitor outgoing connections.

There are a few free firewalls available.
Comodo Firewall Pro, available here. This download has both a firewall and anti-virus in the same package, so be sure that you uncheck the AV option if you choose to install this one.
PC Tools Firewall Plus, available here.
Online Armor Free, available here.

It is important to note that you should only have one firewall installed at a time, but you can download them all to your Desktop and install each in turn to see which one you prefer.

Understanding and Using Firewalls: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial60.html
The Windows firewall that is present on a SP3 machine is the SP2 firewall.
