I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum or not, but here goes. Before reinstalling windows I put several folders of .flv files on to dvd as data using Nero. I checked them at the time and the files were working ok. Now when I try to open them from the dvd the name of the folder will show on the screen, but the folder will not open and eventually it comes up at the top as not responding. All 4 dvds are the same. Should I not have saved these files like this. If not, how should I save them. I saved mpegs like this and they play both on the pc and on a stand alone dvd player. Can anyone say if it is windows, or nero, or the dvd drive that is not responding. The dvd drive does work with other discs ok. Thanks for reading and in advance for any help offered. hedley
