redirecting google

second attempt to start topic, google search results are redirected to various sites and attempts to scan computer with spybot or malwarebytes fail to start, i tried to upload a hijackthis result but it is an old version i was using and this site keeps telling me to download an up to date version, which i can do but it will not load or start advice please

Hi Bumpy I suggest you post in the Malware Forum. Explain that you have trouble running HJT, and they will likely either; use a different tool or show you a work-around. Your problem sure do sound like malware. Regards

I agree with Abydos, go to the HijackThis™ Logs and Infections Removal forum, read the info there and follow the posted directions. Once you receive a clean bill of health, come back here if you have any additional questions or concerns or it turns out not to be a malware problem.
