Hi cewong2,
Sorry about the time laps here, had some family issues to take care of.

If this doesn't work try it in safe mode.

NEXT:
1. Please open Notepad
Click Start , then Run
Type notepad .exe in the Run Box.

2. Now copy/paste the entire content of the codebox below into the Notepad window:
Don't copy the word code

KillAll::

File::
c:\windows\system32\b741A.mht
c:\windows\system32\6c21C.tmp
c:\windows\system32\9421B.sys
c:\windows\system32\drivers\logiflt.iad
c:\windows\system32\drivers\lvuvc.hs

Registry::
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\shelliconoverlayidentifiers\00Zecter]
@="{D25B32FE-CB96-491A-98FF-AD59DA382D69}"
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\shelliconoverlayidentifiers\01Zecter]
@="{EB24CA6D-F315-4A81-AC1A-C79CFD77F3F5}"
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\shelliconoverlayidentifiers\02Zecter]
@="{B3C78E40-6B64-47C3-AE34-60B770881EB8}"
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\shelliconoverlayidentifiers\03Zecter]
@="{622AFE52-33F6-4D9F-9966-E0BC52D7D69D}"

Note: the above code was created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do NOT follow these directions as they could damage the workings of your system.

3. Save the above as CFScript.txt

4. Now STOP all your monitoring programs (Antivirus/Antispyware, Guards and Shields) as they could easily interfere with ComboFix.

5. Then drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe as depicted in the animation below. This will start ComboFix again.
[external image: Posted Image]
Note:
Do not mouse-click combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

6. ComboFix will automatically REBOOT your machine when the KillAll:: switch is used..

7. Next, re-enable all the programs that you disabled prior to running ComboFix.
CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.

Post the following logs/Reports:
ComboFix.txt

good luk mschroe919
I hope all is well, I'm just glad that I'm back at least to the point where it's semi-usable, even not at 100%. i followed the drections it got to the screen where it says how much time it can take, then the computer just restarted. it gave me the "Windows - No Disk" alert again while running as well. What would you like me to do? try it again? or try it in Safemode?
Hi cewong2

Thanks for hoping all is okay, Death in family. Have funeral and wake to attend.

Back to your log:

Yes try it in safe mode.

If that does it post the log it saves

And if it does or doesn't please do this next:

Using Internet Explorer, please do a Kaspersky online scan] This scan takes about 60 minutes to complete.

Get it

HERE:

Answer Yes, when prompted to install an ActiveX component.
The program will then begin downloading the latest definition files.
Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
Locate the Scan Settings button & configure as follows:
Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
Extended
Scan Options:
Scan Archives
Scan Mail Bases

Click OK & have it scan My Computer
Once the scan is complete, it will provide a report if your system is infected. It does not provide an option to clean/disinfect. We only require a report from it.

[external image: Posted Image]

Click the Save as Text button to save the file to your desktop and post it in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log

* Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan

good luck mschroe919

Also that no disk is usualy from one of your drives are trying to boot lets try to fix the other stuff then we wil,l tacle that problem
Thanks for the updates, Combofix ran in safemode, then restarted the system. It came up with the screen where it was gathering reports but then the system crashed again, and it restarted. I'm running Kaspersky right now. Everytime that Combofix runs though I get the no disk as well.
Hi Okay lets leave combo alone for now I will wait for the Kaspersky log. I am now going to funeral and lunch after and I will get back late tonight mschroe919
Just to let you know it's been running 11:38:30 and it's only at 64% so it probably won't finish tonight… I have 1.9tb of space, on 4 HDD. =)

Also how many drives do you have working?

Kaspersky says yo got C:\, D:\,E:\, H:\, O:\

I don't all these in your HJT?
I did. that was a fresh scan after I had done what you said. I didn't see a couple of the things on there but if said itw as fixing 49 items. The only system drive is C, it's the only one that has anything running off of it. the rest are storage. This is so in case my C decides to stuff the bed on me I don't lose my data. I even have my mail back up off my C drive onto my H drive. C - 320GB - SATA drive D - 360GB - SATA drive E - Partitioned off C from HP (Recovery drive) H - 300GB - External Drive O - 1TB - External Drive I will try to run the fixes again. I actually don't see a majority of the things on the list… I'll resave the HJT file.
Hi
I have a idea that might work:

First diconnect your 2 external HD.
Then

Lets try to run Combofix again, But first let completly delete the ones you have.

First by doing this:

[external image: Posted Image]

Once it is gone lets try this again:

Download ComboFix to your Desktop.
Get it

HERE: or

HERE:

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, please delete it from your desktop and download this new version . It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
——————————————————————–
Close any open browsers and make sure you are disconnected from the net. Unplug the cable if need be before running combofix.
WARNING: IF you have not already done so Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet when it starts
Please do not re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.

**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures

[external image: Posted Image]

Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:

[external image: Posted Image]

——————————————————————–

Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a report for you.
Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt along with a new HijackThis log for further review

****Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall or freeze ****

*If there is no internet connection when Combofix has completely finished then restart your computer to restore back the connections.

Give it atleast 20-30 minutes to finish

If it fails try it in safe mode
good luck
Alright, so the first time I tried it in a normal session it seemed to go through everything then it crashed again before making a report. So started over and got it to work in safemode. Here are the logs
