I'm getting the svchost.exe Application Error; whenever I attempt to click on any link in a webpage.
Also, I'm being redirected to websites unrelated to the actual site of interest, and when it does make it to a site of interest, it's only for a few second before explorer jumps away to another unrelated site.
(I found that clicking on the stop button prevents this and allows me to make this post) :pullhair:

Norton is not loading at boot, …as it is supposed to.
It will not start from any menu, or by clicking on the executable.
SpyBot is the same. Not loading at boot, or from the directory.
Even Windows Firewall settings will not start, …or open.

I had a similar issue that was resolved with the help received here more than a month ago.
I don't believe this new issue ie related, …just a similar unfortunate choice of webpages visited.

Here's the first log.
