[Closed] Computer slowed right down, lags and skips now

I got on my computer today to do my normal browsing and game playing and my computer is lagging all over the place and also kind of liks skipping. It will stop all activity and then after a second or two skip ahead to where it would be if it hadnt stopped. I was having problems playing online games like cards and even lagging which reading the news. I also play a video game and am having major problems with it lagging and skipping. I have never had problems like this before. At first I thought it was just the game in general but then I noticed it was happening with the internet and everything else. I did a malware scan and nothing came up as well as a avg scan I also did ATV clean and A disk cleaner. I have restarted the computer about 6 times also. My young son got on my computer 2 days ago and I am wondering if that might be the cause of this. I so appreciate you guys help over and over. Please forgive me for bugging you and needing help again. Please Please Please Help I am pulling my hair out. Thanks in advance.

Please download DDS and save it to your desktop.
  • Disable any script blocking protection
  • Double click dds.scr to run the tool.
  • When done two logs should open:
  • DDS.txt
  • Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop.

LimeWire
You have LimeWire, a P2P/file sharing programs installed on your computer. P2P applications like it are the largest source of malware we see. You'll be doing yourself a favor by removing it.

I would recommend that you uninstall LimeWire, however that choice is up to you. If you choose to remove these programs, you can do so via Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs.

If you wish to keep it, please do not use it until your computer is cleaned.


Please click Start >> Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs.
Find each of the below items on the list and click remove on each one.
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
Java™ 6 Update 2
Java™ 6 Update 5
Java™ 6 Update 7
Java™ SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1
Also, have a look down the list for any other programs that you don't use or need, and Remove them as well.


Reboot after these steps and post a new HijackThis log.

Nothing bad is showing in your logs. Do you have the problems only while using the Internet or is it all the time and while doing anything?
