Hi, Well, your malware logs that you have provided seem to be clean but with the backdoor capabilities that the infection has I could not give you a 100% guarantee. If it were my system I would format and reinstall, but that is just what I would do. If you are worried about losing data that can all be saved prior to formatting the hard drive anyway.

Well with this infection luckily it doesn't jump computers so you could just create a folder on your Desktop, gather all your files, photos, music and other documents you might like to keep and place them into that folder and copy it to a CD or USB drive.

hi jeff im in big trouble now, i put all my pictures and documents onto a usb drive and started to copy on my working laptop and about halfway through the screen went black, and the only light on was the power. i held down the power button and booted ut 10 min. later and its all black ,the hard drive is spinning but no light indicating activity, the other lights flash upon starting for 1 second, then just the power button is on. i put a cd in and i can hear it spinning but screens all black.any idea.

Hi, Unfortunately like you know we are going to need to reinstall your operating system. I will have more time later this afternoon to give better instructions on how to recover your files on your system. Do you have another computer you can burn a CD from? Do you have a USB drive as well?
