Y R Pi (knot)2 ??

Oh... I know why!

The answer was discovered in an exhaustive long term scientific study to determine if there was any correlation between the behavior and physical well-being of individual monkeys and the way they were treated by other monkeys in their community. I saw the report on PBS around 2001 or so. After exhausting detail and hours of scientific intrigue, the head scientist faced the camera straight on. I will never forget the sincerity with which he spoke these words at the end of the long program. It remains to this day as my all time favorite quote.

"The results are clear ~ that how one is treated in a baboon society, has everything to do with how the body functions."

B) yep, I concur.

Oh! Here's another one.... "If we fail, we fail. But screw your courage to the sticking post and we shall not fail." ~William Shakespeare P.S. 1. Can anyone guess from which Shakespeare work this came from? 2. Can anyone guess the character who said it? (See, now, I just gave a hint.) 3. Can anyone guess to whom this character was speaking? 4. Can anyone guess what this scene was about? P.S.S. BIG HINT: I really like this quote. I am not fond, however, of who said it... nor do I in any way support the motivation behind why it was said.

Doug: Thought Shakespeare was what Brits had, instead of TV, and the occasional puppet show for variety.

No Doug! Without tele, they wouldnt have Coronation Street, and the world would come to an end!

On the other hand, we wouldnt have all the old classic comedies like fawlty towers neither, now that WOULD be a tragedy! :(

That's not far from the truth, virtually everyone over here seems to watch Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Eastenders. But at least we won't have to watch smarmy Simon Cowell on the weekends any more, he's judging the American X-Factor now. Take that, Americans. lol. :D

I haven't got a clue what coronation street is... but I like Fawlty Towers . I'm also a fan of all 4 versions of Blackadder, Dr. Who numbers 4,5,6,9,10 and 11, Are you being served, As time goes by, Keeping up appearances, and Jeeves and Wooster. I know very little about Britain... but I find the comedy shows hilarious. I actually enjoy Shakespeare... but I've never read Romeo and Juliet which seems to be most peoples favorite. MacBeth was the first one I ever read so it tends to stick with me (so I knew the answer to the questions) but my favorite is probably Much Ado About Nothing. Actually, I prefer Charles Dickens. A Tale of Two Cities is perhaps my favorite of all time.

I'm of the "Shakespeare was a fake" school and there are many of us.

Here is some of just one noted.

"the purported playwright left no books, nor letters or other records of a literary presence".

"Where are the books? You can't be a scholar of that depth and not have any books in your home," Justice Stevens says. He never had any correspondence with his contemporaries, he never was shown to be present at any major event -- the coronation of James or any of that stuff. I think the evidence that he was not the author is beyond a reasonable doubt."

Justice Stevens Renders an Opinion on Who Wrote Shakespeare's Plays
