ok deleted them all rebooted in safe mode ran hijack this and only R1.....sp.html was there. 04.....run......navmgrd nor wkssvr was there!!!!!????? is it possible for these files to be gone and have them still register in memory somehow when I search. Example when I delete them nothing goes to the recyle bin but I can pick a random file and send it there and restore it!?!?!?!?!? also in my search I used registrar and regedit to find sp.html and njofc and wkssvr and navmgrd and found none in either search!?!?!? My feeble mind is boggled with these things!

See if this fixes the recycle bin

go to Start>Run, and type in: cmd
Select: OK
At the cmd prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each:

cd\
attrib -h -s c:\recycler
del c:\recycler

Did you disable Ad-Watch before doing this? If not, try again please.

Please disable Ad Watch

Use ALT/CTRL/DEL and end the process for Ad-Watch, navmgrd.exe and wkssvr.exe if listed.

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these.

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = file://C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\sp.html

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Update] navmgrd.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Updates] wkssvr.exe

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Search for these two and delete if found.
navmgrd.exe
wkssvr.exe

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

Create a blank NotePad file again, and delete it. Do you now get asked if you want to send the file to the Recycle Bin, and then the file shows up in the RB? If that is the case, you‘re good!
