Hi Malc, Sit down with a cup of tea.....as I'm afraid I have some more work for you to do........
It is pretty clear that you have installed an extra copy of Windows so you now have two copies of Windows running on the same partition of your hard drive..... :( This was NOT what was intended.

When you used the Dell disc you need the destructive reinstall that wipes your hard drive and then reinstalls your system back to the state it was in when it left the factory. You were probalby given two choices of how to proceed when you used the Dell discs and I think you chose the wrong one!...... :( Hence the need for more tea!

However its all good experience and by the time you finish with all this you will be a real expert... :)

What you need to do now is to start again use the dell disc and this time choose the option that reinstalls Windows and wipes your old drive info!
