Also I tried to extract all of rem.zip to C:\windows\system32, but it is password protected? and won't extract.

I restarted in safemode and ran remv3.bat and a file poped up and started scrolling through. I got bored and tried to switch windows and another window popped up and said access denied C:log.txt I think is what it was. I clicked ok and both windows closed, so where is the log file?

Ok. Lets run these again :thumbup:

Double-click the FxAgentB file to run it and the program will scan your entire hard drive - this may take a while. When it is done, it will generate a log file called FxAgentB.log - save that information as you will need to paste it here later. Reboot when done.

Run CWShredder, Open CWShredder and with ALL other windows closed, click fix.

Important steps to getting this tool to work properly:

Start about:buster Then hit update. A new screen should popup. On that screen hit Check for Updates. If it says it found an update hit Download Updates. If it doesnt it will automatically tell you and exit. Now for the scanning part. Hit start and then Ok. The program should start scanning. Then hit exit and reboot.

Once rebooted run about:Buster once more to make sure everything is ok.
The database will be updated very frequently so check your versions once a day.

Reboot when done, rescan with HijackThis and post a new log here, together with the FxAgentB log.

ok I found the log in safe mode under administrated and after a lengthy agruement between myself and the file I got it opened, but I cannot access it now. the I think important part it said was at the bottom Bad file still to be deleted msi.dll I'll se if I can find a way to get it here after I do those scans again.

DLL File: msi or msi.dll DLL Name: Windows Installer Library Description: msi.dll is component that contains functions used to install MSI (Microsoft Installer) packages I'll wait for those logs :thumbup:

first off congrats we broke 100 replies. does that make mine the most jacked up computer ever? j/k so anyway I looked for njofc.dll in registrar and found 3 files though it still doesn't find wkssvr or navmgrd I'll try sp.html too should I delete njofc?

Do you have a Administrator account on the computer?
If so, startup in Safe Mode and use the Administrator account.

Please disable Ad Watch

Use ALT/CTRL/DEL and end the process for Ad-Watch, navmgrd.exe and wkssvr.exe if listed.

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these.

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = file://C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\sp.html

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Update] navmgrd.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Updates] wkssvr.exe

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Search for these two and delete if found.
navmgrd.exe
wkssvr.exe

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
