You can ask right here. You have both Avast and Comodo installed, if your happy with them then keep them. Microsoft recommends just one AV and Firewall, more than one is overkill and can hamper system performance. If your behind a router you may have extra protection and some routers have a built in firewall.
What issues are you having with your browsers and which one or is it all of them ??

I only really use firefox. Problems are sluggishness, images & sites loading slowly (my ISP speed is fine) script pop ups and sometimes pluggin problems

Apologies for the late response. Reset firefox 2 days ago and it seems to have mostly done the trick. still a few too many script pop ups.
Is noscript or yesscript a good tool to use?
