i don't think that's the correct program pulsebabe and you'll need to uninstall pc matic, all we need is an overdrive scan.. sorry but that page is confusing, pc matic is a program they sell to keep a pc running at it's best and not something people really need in my opinion.

ok its done but its not allowing me to save the report anywhere. its found 26 fixes and 2 advice items. do i click to fix all?

I see what you mean about 'saving the report" as I just ran the test myself (first time) and 'results' are all over the place

Yes, click to fix all and after it is finished completely, re-boot and run the test again

These points are important:

Under 'Summary' make a note of anything still marked with a red 'X'.

Under 'Drivers', make a note of any drivers with a red 'X' (means they need upgrading).

Under 'Performance' make a note of anything still marked with a red 'X'

Cheers,
Lee

Pulsebabe, You were correct to not hit fix. that was for a paid product PCMatic, which is a fine program for general optimizing, but we would rather do the same "fixes" manually here with help from our forum techs. (In general, automatic fix utilities can make too many mistakes and/or fix some things that you didn't want changed). Please be patient while the folks here review your Overdrive Results. Best Regards

don't worry about pc matic and it's results, nothing there that i would say was a problem, and we can manually do those fixes if needed, must admit tho i'm a bit concerned about the low cpu and memory scores, but have no idea what to do to fix them if it's decided that's where your problems lay. i'm beginning to think it may be best to completely remove and re-install ie.
