Just to clarify: Are you also upgrading the PSU or no? Also can you link to the recommendation? The link you post is a standard bracket card. Again you need a "half height" bracket.

well if we can find a low profile, low watt card and i didn't have to upgrade the psu then that would be great. I can't find the recommendation on that or the NVida 7500LE 256MB I was just trusting what the thread said.

Can you post the thread reply # or page #? Again what you need is "Low Profile" as well as "Half Height" bracket. What you linked to was a full bracket and will not fit the case.

page one says The Slimlines support any low profile half height card that works within the 160 and 180 watt PSU limitations. .(known documented working examples include Nvidia 7300GS, 7300GT, 7350LE, 7600gt, 8400GS, 8500GT, and 8600GT, 9500GS, as well as a few ATI cards - including the 3450, 3650, 4350, and 4550. I strongly recommend the 4550 as a good HTPC card based on fellow thread memeber's expieriences --- it utilzes very little power (20-30 watts max) and is fast!

Okay. But you also need to get a version of these cards in a "Half Height" format.

I will see if I can find some.

The original link you posted to the ATI Radeon HD4550 HD 4550 512MB DVI HDMI PCI-E is a full standard bracket and as such would not fit into your case.

Not because of the card size "Low Profile" but because of the bracket size. You need a "Half Height" bracket.

"The Slimlines support any low profile half height card "

If you have a bracket kit Okay then. Just verify the kit is compatible with the card.

A half height low profile card will have a bracket no wider than the card.

Here is an example:

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814102829

Unless the card states that it has both brackets it will not.

You can get bracket kits such as this:

http://www.antonline...Kit-_259734.htm

The double slot model is for both the D-Sub and DVI ports.

Yes. Try it. If it doesn't work then the PSU upgrade would be your next step. Let us know how it goes.

Yes that is (sans the bracket). 4550.

This is a 4650 in the proper format:

Although this is not listed on the said thread.

That is the same 4550 card. The only question here is the bracket. What monitor connection are you using? The card has both D-Sub and DVI plus it has what looks like a Firewire port. On a standard bracket they just spread out these ports whereas on the "Half Height" they double up on the slot with a flex connection. Your last link bracket option would work with a DVI monitor but not a D-sub. I would be willing a fairly safe bet that if the 4550 works then the 4560 I linked above would as well. The 4560 would fit as is as far as case space.
