I accessed safemode from the Windows Advanced Options Menu like you said. The computer is still at the select user screen after selecting safemode in WAOM. It has been idle there for atleast 15mins after selecting which user i wanted to logon with.

Did it say you can do that without the Windows CD? I think you'd still need the Windows CD. I could be wrong.

Can you tell me how you did it please? Also I'd like to see a new HJT log. You might still be infected.

istill am infected. just did a system recovery. i think it was "f10" during boot up. could not find disc for PC.
