 heres the scan results, it flagged up 19 threats alltold

Phil, I know the scan takes awhile but go ahead and run it again , this time have it remove all threats, post the log, reboot and let me know if this helped with the adds

ken i scanned again just in case the freezing befoore it ended was a prob here is the latest scan this finished to the end.

 ive had sound forge on here as long as this computer has existed ,think someone gave me a disc or file, cant remember, i dont use it  should i delete it ??

   is that what toolbar crossrider is ??  or kryptik atb trojan these keep cropping up even though i quarrantined and deleted twice now??

I would uninstall it as all cracked keygen software is infected

The music seems to have stopped but im using heavily this weekend so ill know for sure by sunday.
Explorer still not allowing me to type in search area there no cursor comes up unless i right click drop down menu comes up then choose select all then cursor appears and i can type. This also happens if i access yahoo mail through the home page.other than that it works fine. Maybe it got corrupted ? How can i repair or reinstall?

Lets set Internet Explorer back to defaults

 

  • Open IE
  • Go to Tools> Internet Options > Advanced Tab
  • Reset Internet Explorer Setting
  • Reset
  • This will take a few seconds
  • Close IE and then reopen it and see if it helped
