Unlikely. But it's difficult to pinpoint a cause at this moment in time.

Yes, unlikely to be related to malware. Your machine appears clean. 
When was the last time you cleaned the insides of your computer? 
 

That is not good, but when i looked at the bios, it red 85 degree's F. is that hot?

At idle, that would be considered too hot.
What are you doing when you see that temperature? This is when your computer is locking up?

Boot into Safe Mode, and let me know if you still experience lock ups/freezes, as well as that temperature.

I completly rebuit this computer no less then bout 3 months ago. I was going to stick another more powerful CPU fan in it, but i havn't got around to doing that yet. I clean my machine on a regular bases, but we had some issues with hardware, but i replaced all of them. Motherboard, PSU, Graphics card (Although a temp outdated one), still should work, RAM, CPU. There really should not be a hardware issue at all on this machine. but i have to tell you another thing. We have had frequent video output problems as well or so my sister was saying. I am not sure what could be the cause of that, other then to change the graphics card.

 

At idle, that would be considered too hot.
What are you doing when you see that temperature? This is when your computer is locking up?

 

I am not doing nothing, i was just booting on the machine to look at my bios. The computer locks up right now, like when im just on the desktop, does matter if its "Normal" or "safe mode". It still locks up and this is a VERY recent issue, this just now happen. I never had an acute lock up issue before like i do now.

I am sorry i am not sure how to post the entire log, its way to long. If your talking bout an internet link. Not sure how to do that anyways. But hey i have to tell you these, temps look absolutly fine. There is no indication here what so ever that say the temps are high. But in the bios, its a different story. I can go look at my bios right now and its stating that its around 70 to 80 degree's at least. Also the machine will start acting up, the first thing that happens is the mouse will go out, which made me surmise that it was an issue with the USB controllers not functioning, but then the entire machine freezes to where i can't use the task manager. That may also be an issue with USB as well meaning that the keyboard and mouse both have problems as well. Then again the miss read out of the temp in the bios is missleading. I might consider pugging in some devices via PS2 ports and see when the locks happen, if i can still use the computer. Cause it may be all related to USB functionaility. I am not sure.

 

But why would the Bios read 85 degree's then? Is there a way we can check these USB controllers, possible re-install the drivers? It is quite possible that some of these deep internal scans may of curropted some drivers? Just a thought. I really don't know what else to do at this point.

In order to gain a better understanding of what may be causing the issues you're experiencing, we need to test your machine in a Linux environment. Using the instructions below, please create a Live CD and boot into Puppy Linux. Test your machine in this environment, and let me know how it performs, whether you experience the same issues, etc. 

 

 Puppy Linux
 
Required Hardware:

• CD Burner (CDRW) Drive
• Blank CD
   

STEP 1
 Burn Puppy Linux Live CD Using Clean PC

• Using your clean PC:
  • Download Latest Puppy Linux ISO (i.e.: lupu-528.iso) and save the file to your Desktop.
  • Download BurnCDCC ISO Burning Software and save the file to your Desktop.
• Open BurnCDCC.
• Extract All files to a convenient location.  
• Double-Click BurnCDCC.
• Click Browse  and navigate to the Puppy Linux ISO file you downloaded earlier.
• Double-Click the file.
• Important: Adjust the speed bar to CD: 4x DVD: 1x.
• Click Start .
• Your CD Burner Tray will automatically open. 
• Insert a blank CD and close the tray.
• Click OK.
• Your Puppy Linux Live CD will now be created.
   

STEP 2
 Change BIOS Boot Priority

• Restart the affected PC.
• Read the following instructions on how to change your BIOS boot priority to a CD. 
• Open your CD ROM drive and insert your Puppy Linux Live CD.
• Press F10 to save and exit.
• Press Y to continue.
• Your computer will restart and boot from your Puppy Linux Live CD.

Ok i am going to do that now. But i hope after we are done with this i can get some protection on this machine, make a system reg back up and defrag or do what ever i have to do to prevent infections in the future cause my sister just went on the computer again with out my consent and went to a few sites with no protection on the machine. I scanned them via virus total, they look good but some of them have unrated sites. Nothing in the red though so i think its ok.

So i am in linux now, what sort of things can i test in linux. So far it looks ok., Although its downloading at an incredibly slow rate, like 3.5 K'b's, seriously?

So absolutely no USB defects well running this system. My sister was using it as well for a bit later and she said she didn't notice anything besides the internet not working, but that is probably because i don't have the drivers and or modem configured with this OS.

 

I also heard from various resources that Linux is a safer and more secure then windows in relation to infections, maleware and things like that. Something bout the coding of the OS being completely different to windows and so there for not as vurnabile as windows is. Is that true at all?

 

In any case this has shown me that the USB defects is an issue related to windows somehow and is a software problem, not a hard ware issue. I have the same sort of problems on my other computer from time to time as well. Wish i knew how to fix this. As far as the machine it self crashing and shutting down, none of that is happening either.

 

This is a relief to me actually, cause i am glad its not a hardware issue. Is there any type of scans or software i can run through the linux?

Yes, we can do this.

~95% of the computers in the world run some version of Windows. One of the key objectives for a malware author is to infect as many machines as possible, so naturally, Windows is their choice of OS to target. 
 
With such a small percentage running Linux, the number of malware that targets this OS is relatively low. As such, one can consider Linux the safer OS. Who knows what the story would be if the numbers were reversed, and Linux occupied ~95% of the market...
 

Is there any type of scans or software i can run through the linux?

We've established the issues you're experiencing are related to your installation of Windows. We don't need to use Linux any further. 
 
Our first step is to create backups of your important files and registry. Follow the instructions below on how you can safely do this. 
Please let me know when you're satisfied your important files are backed up. 
 
STEP 1
 DelFix

• Please download DelFix and save the file to your Desktop.
• Right-Click DelFix.exe and click  Run as administrator.
• Remove the checkmark next to the following items:
  • Remove disinfection tools
• Place a checkmark next to the following items:
  • Create registry backup
• Click the Run button.
   

STEP 2
 Panda USB Vaccine

• Please download Panda USB Vaccine and save the file to your Desktop of a clean PC.
• Double-click USBVaccineSetup.exe to install the programme.
• Read and accept the license agreement, then click Next.
• Upon completion of the setup, ensure Launch Panda USB Vaccine is checked and click Finish.
• Click the Vaccinate Computer button. It should now show a green checkmark and confirm Computer vaccinated.
• Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and insert your USB drive into the clean PC.
• Follow these instructions on how to reformat your USB drive (this will remove all files on the device). This is to ensure the drive is clean. 
• Return to Panda USB Vaccine. When the name of the drive appears in the Panda USB Vaccine dialog box, click the Vaccinate USB drive(s)button.
• Exit the programme when done.

-- Computer Vaccination will prevent any AutoRun file from running, regardless of whether the removable device is infected or not. USB Vaccination disables the autorun file so it cannot be read, modified or replaced and creates an AUTORUN_.INF as protection against malicious code. The Panda Resarch Blog advises that once USB drives have been vaccinated, they cannot be reversed except with a format. If you do this, be sure to back up your data files first or they will be lost during the formatting process.

 
STEP 3
 Folder Options

• Press the Windows Key + r on your keyboard at the same time. Type Control Folders and click OK.
• Click View. Under Hidden files and folders:
• Place a checkmark next to Show hidden files, folders and drives.
• Remove the checkmark next to Hide extensions for known file types.
• Click Apply followed by OK.
   

STEP 4
 Backup Data
The safest practice is not to backup any executable files (.exe), screensavers (.scr), dynamic link library (.dll), autorun (.ini) or script files (.php,.asp, .htm, .html, .xml) files because they may be infected by malware. You should also avoid backing up compressed files (.zip, .cab, .rar) that have executables inside as some types of malware can penetrate compressed files and infect the .exe files within them. Other types of malware may disguise itself by hiding a file extension or by adding double file extensions (hence why STEP 2 is important) and/or space(s) in the file's name to hide the real extension, so be sure you look closely at the full file name.

• Backing up documents, image, music and video is fine.
• To repeat, do not backup up files with the following extensions:

.exe, .scr, .bat, .com, .cmd, .msi, .pif, .ini, .htm, .html, .hta, .php, .asp, .xml, .zip, .rar, .cab

• Once you have decided which files you wish to backup, copy the files over to a USB drive.

What bout all of the applications that i have on there? Just redownload each one again? Also HTML. I have to back up book marks at least for the firefox browser.

 

What is that program you utilize to get a full listing of all installations on your computer? I may have to use that if you want me to forgo backing up my programs. So i know which ones to download again on this machine.

 

So essentially this is a format and clean install? Em i understanding this correctly? After all that work we did, were just going to format the computer?

 

Also i only have a 16 Gb USB drive. The amount of data i would have to back up on here is at least around 150 GB. Mostly Media and games and things like that.

No, I haven't said anything about a reformat. That is the worst case scenario.

You don't need to backup your programmes.

We're backing up your personal files as a precaution before we begin troubleshooting the lock up issues mentioned earlier.

We can begin troubleshooting immediately, but backing up data first would be the recommended course of action incase unforeseen issues arise.

Ohh i see, ok well then just the important documents and files then. Ok well there are certain things that i know i do not want to delete, such as bookmarks for the browser, its taken many years to gather all those resources so as you said not to back up any HTML documents, but i think i am not going to have a choice in the matter. How else em i going to back up my bookmarks? Or is that something that is most likely not going to be deleted?

Backing up your bookmarks to a .html file should be OK. 
 
Lets begin by testing a new user profile. After creation, I'd like you to monitor for issues previously mentioned, and let me know if they're present. 
 
STEP 1
 Creating System Restore Point (W7/Vista)

• Click the Windows Start Button . Right-click Computer and click Properties.
• Click System protection in the panel on the left. 
• Click the System Protection tab, followed by Create.
• In the System Protection dialog box, type a description, and click Create.
• Upon completion, close the window.
   

STEP 2
 Creating New User Profile (no file transfer) W7/Vista

• Click the Start button, Control Panel and double-click User Accounts. 
• Click Manage Another Account.
• Type a new account name you wish to use and click Next.
• Select Computer administrator and click Create Account.
• Click the Start button, click the arrow to the right of Shut Down, and click Switch user.
• Log into the new user profile.
• Once your settings are created, test your computer performance.

Hmm i havn't notice anything as far as the USB going out. I had it mostly on idle though but i will continue to monitor it.

EDIT: It just happend again, i figured it out to. Seeing as how the USB  didn't go out when i was running Lynux leads me to believe its not a port issue or a hardware issue.

 

So what happened was after just messing around on the machine for a little while, eventually the USB mouse and keyboard both went out at the same exact time. These were plugged into the front of the case, but the USB 3.0 for some reason works. For example right now i have three ports in the front of the case, 2 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0. Right now i have the mouse unhooked cause it won't work in the USB 2.0. But i have the keyboard hooked into the USB 3.0 and it works fine. Now in order to work the mouse again so if i have to click "save changes" to this post. I will have to unplug the keybard, and plug the mouse into the USB 3.0. You follow that? I am not trying to be confusing here, but that is the situation. This is NOT a computer crash. I have determined that this is only a USB defect. Though i can't explain why my bios reads 75 degree's. But that is another thing i guess.

 

If i reboot the machine, all of the USB ports work as they should, but after a while eventually they go out. So my guess is it has to do something with the USB 2.0 controllers or drivers. But this is not a case of a hardware issue, other wise i would have had the same issue with Lynux installed right?

Regarding the temperature readings you've mentioned -  it's possible the readings are in Fahrenheit, not Celsius. This is the likely case, and appears consistent with the temperatures reported by Speccy. 75/85 degrees Fahrenheit is normal.

 System Summary Information

• Press the Windows Key  + r on your keyboard at the same time.
• Type msinfo32 and click OK.
• Click on System Summary to select it. 
• Click File, Save. Name the file System Summary and save the file to your Desktop.
• Upload the file (System Summary) to my channel.
