In the comments someone gave up the solution and it worked for me:

1. Click somewhere on the page.
2. Tap the space bar once or twice.

Problem solved!

I would just like to add that I've also noticed this problem... I have Synaptics and I find the scrolling doesn't work after certain videos are watched. Couldn't figure out why it would stop working after my boyfriend used the computer - well, he's always on here watching animé and such! I don't have any answers, just letting you know that it might be more common of a problem than we thought. Heh. :blush:

try this... firefox, > addons > flashblock Flash is doing it. also. This problem does not appear in linux.
Slow computer?
How did this happen, I got a virus!!!
Are you about to post a HijackThis log?
Before you use any tools
Do you run Firefox?? You may wish to get the WOT, NoScript and Flashblock addons.

to fix this problem just take the last synaptics version from http://www.laptopvid...showtopic=15103
