Well, I just want to make sure I have the best software available to me on my computer. So which are the three ones you wanted me to get out of all those, also, if one of those products that you mentioned (firewall, antivirus) is better than what i already have, or is more effiecient, please let me know. As far as the firewall, i know that Zone Alarms firewall sucks on interoffice networks, as it says that your basic network connection is a non-trusted source, the problem with works is, the internet runs through the network line so if i say it's an internet connection with high security, it blocks myself and other users off my computer so we can't share files. I hope all that made sense, i know i rambled on. Either way, here's my log from my laptop. Once the other computer is finished loading, i will make a post on the results of that. Thx.

I would add Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard. Your laptop log looks good. How's it running?

For the firewall, for this other computer, which do i chose?? SyGate Firewall Pro v 5.x SyGate Office Network v 4.x SyGate Home v 4.x SyGate Enterprise Firewall My Laptops running fine, i just wanted to get it checked out. BTW, instead of telling people to right click on My Computer, you could aslo tell them to press and hold the windows key, then press "Pause/Break" and it does the same this. Also, I've requested admissions to sign me up for classes to learn how to read the hijackThis files. I'm MCSE certified, plus certified in many other computer based areas, including web design, graphics design, animations, and Linux. I was also hoping that I could speak with you through e-mail if possible, outside of the HijackThis forum about other computer issues, topics and general. I've tried using the "send e-mail" option in this forum, but it never lets me e-mail you. I also know i'm not supposed to post my e-mail in the forum, so if there's something we can figure out here, it'd be much appreciated.

SyGate Home v 4.x Would be my guess. I use the 5.0 personal, but I don't see that as a option. I use the free one.

Glad you're interested in the Classroom.
