Please download and run CWShredder. Make sure that all browser windows are closed with the exception of Cwshredder and choose FIX.

Ran Cwshredder and it found nothing. One thing I did notice is that when the homepage loads up it has an explanation point and says " Done, errors on page!".

Have killbox remove these files

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MYDLL.dll
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\S64OWEAM\silent_install[1].exe

Lets do some cleaning.

Download ccleaner from the link below, save it to your desktop. Open ccleaner and click on run ccleaner at the bottom right.

http://www.majorgeek...wnload4191.html

Next download Regseeker from the link below. Save it to your destop. Open Regseeker and click on clean registry, next click ok. Once the scan is complete make sure the make backups is checked and then select all and delete it.

http://www.majorgeek...wnload2579.html

NEXT

  • Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
  • A new window will open...click the Check Now button
  • Enter your Country
  • Enter your State/Province
  • Enter your e-mail address and click send
  • Select either Home User or Company
  • Click the big Scan Now button
  • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
  • When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
  • When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.
Paste the contents of the Panda scan report along with a new HijackThis Log in your next reply.

NEXT

Download and save backlight to your desktop. Doubleclick blbeta.exe, accept the agreement, leave [X]scan through Windows Explorer checked, click scan > next.

You'll see a list of all the items it found. There will also be a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (where xxxxxxx represents numbers). The application finds both bad files and legitimate ones such as "wbemtest.exe", so don't choose the rename option yet! Copy and paste the log it generated in your next reply.

Go to c:\WINDOWS\system32

Delete the following files in red (it could be that they are deleted already):

c:\Windows\System32\??chost.exe Take care, there is also a svchost.exe. This is a valid file!
Reboot and a new panda scan please.

Launch Notepad, and copy/paste the box below into a new text file. Save it as FindFile.bat and save it on your Desktop.

dir c:\WINDOWS\system32\??chost.exe /a h > files.txt
notepad files.txt

Locate FindFile.bat on your Desktop and double-click on it. It will open Notepad with some text in it. Please post the text here.

Searched everywhere for file "??chost.exe" and could not find it, but I did find two files named "svchost.exe". One had the size of 14,336 and the other 385,024bytes. Is the file with the 385,024 bytes the one to delete?
