Little Eagle,

It has the same symptoms; the pc still has many browsers opening without cause, no network connections showing, though I can connect by ethernet; empty device manager, unless you go to safe mode.

Download Killbox.zip

Extract it from the zip file then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the 'Paste Full Path of File to Delete' box, copy and paste this entry:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\crfview.dll

Little Eagle, I ran killbox, I pasted c:\windows\system32\crfview.dll into the window; the reply couldn't delete file, I also now have lost my desktop, and icons on the lower tool bar. HELP!!!

I rebooted the pc, ewido finds and infection.... Spyware.Look2Me it doesn't appear to be able to remove it.

Also received rundll error error loading c:\windows\system32\kqrnel32.dll

Lets try this

Download CWShredder 2.15 http://cwshredder.ne.../CWShredder.exe but don't run it now.

Run L2m fix with option2 to delete most of the files.

After the reboot run CWShredder it will ask to reboot allow it.

Run L2m fix again with option 2 to restore the reg keys.

Little Eagle, Yahooooo! it looks like we are making some headway now, after the 1st run of L2m, network wireless card was back as well as the device manager being properly populated. After each reboot ewido keeps finding Spyware.Look2Me infected files, I have listed them below. fssres.dll Also initially got a runndll error at startup listed below, then after the 2nd reboot got the 2nd one listed. C:\WINDOWS\system32\xcsp3res.dll",DllGetVersion" C:\WINDOWS\system32\fssres.dll",DllGetVersion" But I never saw where the L2m had an option to restore reg keys?? Little Eagle, Oops, I almost forgot, after the L2m ran the 2nd time it said to run hijackthis and fix line 020. Shall I do that now? Do you need to see a log? Thanks Again!!

Pleae post another hijackthis log

Double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

if you receive, while running option #1, an error similar like: ''C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate the application.."...then please use option 5 or the web page link in the l2mfix folder to solve this error condition. do not run the fix portion without fixing this first.

Run L2m fix with option2 to delete most of the files. After the reboot run CWShredder it will ask to reboot allow it. Run L2m fix again with option 2 to restore the reg keys. Run ediwo scan then post another hijackthis log.
