Would you give me a more detailed instruction on how to fix it?

Ok sorry about that.. I should have been more detailed there. Open up HiJack This, the app I had you download previously to run the scan you posted, And with all browser type windows closed (any Internet Explorer type window) place a check by this 016 entry

and then click to "Fix" it.

The "FIX" button is under the scan results

ok.. you need to open hijack this... not the log... the application.. scan.. then close all other windows and check to fix that entry

Ok.. now that you got that activeX gate shutdown, go back to your modemconfiguration page ( http://192.168.0.1 we did finally figure out that was the modem configuration page correct..? ) If thats not your modem configuration page then try http:127.0.0.1 Remember that your modem configuration page will be This Page Here.!!. Once you navigate your way to that particular page, set the settings exactly like I have mine On This Page Right Here...
Then go back to the first of this thread and follow the instructions on how to set each comp up

I use Netgear router which gives info in different format. I think my settings are correct. Netgear WAN Status shows connection activity and duration. If cannot connected, it will indicates too. Sometime I cannot connect to Internet, even DSL is connected. If not connected, WAN Status page will not be available

Ok maybe this will better explain what I mean..

This is my ADSL modem configuration page(its SBC's html configuration page so everyone who uses SBC should see this exact page) I get to this page by typing http://192.168.0.1

This is my router configuration page. I get to it by typing http://192.168.1.1 into the url bar of my browser.
You see what I mean ..?

192.168.0.1 opens my router set up page. Router will auto detect PPPoE. I put in sbcglobla.net, account number, account password, primary and secondary DNS IP numbers. I typed 192.168.1..1 and browser searched and could not find it

Ok.. I do appologize, we are not understanding one another. I wanted to show you simply what mine looks like how yours will be similar. The address "http://192.168.1.1" is defualt home address for all Linksys routers which what I use. For Netgear, apparently 192.168.0.1 is default so.. we are going to need to change the IP of the router. So, go back here http://192.168.0.1 and find the routers ip address (which is 192.168.0.1) Change it to umm.. it dont really matter as long as its not conflicting of course with another device. Set it to 192.168.77.1 .. and click apply and then click ok (or how ever it asks you to save that information.) Then you will need to reboot.. Now that change.. if it sticks will fix your problem
