It's hard to believe what I was saying five years ago.

Now in 2022 I have an iPhone 13 and had an iPhone 10 prior to that I can't beat the security and updates. With Google I would get one update when I bought the phone and some minor ones after that and then none. There are some good parts to Google phones but Google cannot update and secure everyone as apple can do. I have windows 11 and I'm very happy with. It it is properly backed up to two separate external drives one being unplugged in case ransomware or the likes hit it.

However if I could do it all over again and because I've had the opportunity to use my families iPad and MacBook I would go with Apple all the way; phone computer and all 9 yards especially due to security  and updates. I would include Microsoft Office.

Windows phone may not be as popular as Android or iOS, but it can still get the job done. As for accessing Google Drive, you can definitely do that on a Windows phone. You can download the Google Drive app from the Microsoft Store and sign in with your Google account to access all your files and folders. I'm curious as to which Windows phone you have?

Time flies-it is now 2023 and so much has changed on my end. I had a Galaxy 5, and Windows ME - the worst.

I now have an iPhone 14 Plus, a prebuilt desktop with an Asus Z390 board running Windows 11 Pro, and a Spinner Chrome Book for my wife. I also bought a MacBook Pro with MS software.

I went to the beginning of this thread and that is why I stated I was shocked about points of view over the years.

Speaking of modernization have you read about ChatGpt. It is the artificial intelligence chatbot developed by OpenAI and launched in 2022? At 83 I can't complain but would love to see the new creations and concepts in a few years!
