Hey Doug, I was trying to tell him not to Panic about the fire possibility but to make sure to keep that in mind. Thanks for correcting my post though, if you got a different impression than the OP may have as well and I wouldn't have wanted that in the slightest -Daniel :)

Doug thank you for the further warnings i have sent it to the shop and i have repaired it. The shop also told me that soon the problem would reoccur but i am fine with that. Thank you again narumi and mr bean for the tech support..

Hi :wavey: i have been having a new issue recently see i dropped my laptop(well i slipped) and the hard drive got damaged(clicky sounds) i made a backup and installed linux on an external Hard disk(i thought i could revert it back to a storage device) but now that i have replace the hard drive i am now unable to format my hard disk it wont show up in my computer but it does in devices pls can you guys help me? Thx in advance

Herro, Start a New Topic with this new problem. You'll likely get more and better responses, since people will look at this Topic thread as "old" and already received 20 posts. Some may assume with that many replies, you're already getting help or have it solved. So New Topic Thread, may be the way to go. You can copy/paste what you've already posted about this new problem, plus add any more information about the problem and anything new you've tried to solve it for yourself.
