That is a great deal if that works on top of the Newegg Instant Rebate although it appears it may take some time. If I may ask what have you chosen for your PSU?

It is replacing the 9800GT i currently have and the 9800GT will be going into a computer using this power supply.

I am assuming the former is more fit for the GTS250 than the latter.

Should work in both cases.

I'd prefer OCZ to Rosewill. Thermaltake and Enermax are also on the top end of PSU manufacturers.

An OCZ like the one you already have would probably be fine. Here is a bit of an upgrade on that model:

A Thermaltake in the same ballpark:

I'll probably just stick with the one I got. Those will be good if I run into problems though.

The 4870 is the better card... Tough call because the GTS250 is not much better than your current 9800GT. I'd probably not bother unless you went with the 4870... Although the rebate looks pretty nice...

At 1680x1050 my frame rates rarely go below 80 FPS with the 9800GT (Call of duty 4, 5, left 4 dead) which is perfectly fine with me. I play on average settings though which is fine with me in any game. I went with the GTS250 since it's $50 cheaper (after rebate) and will do the job just fine while allowing me to put the 9800GT in the other system with just onboard video.

Can't argue with 80FPS...
