I'm back. I cannot find Lee's instructions how to make a rescue disk, I know it was easy, but I am not seeing the round disk that means to burn, at the top left corner, so I must have missed something. I have been going through all your posts and writing every step down on everything we did. It all worked except the restore/rescue disk. Any ideas or can I google it.
Please Wait, I am creating a tutorial for you

You do not need to make another rescue disk Patti, the one you have already made works fine. But for whatever reason you do wish to make another one, instructions are on page 5 post #69 and post #72 of this thread.
To tidy up those pesky shortcuts in your picture folder that you don't want there, create a folder in My Pictures, put all the shortcuts in the folder (drag and drop) and name it "unused shortcuts".
Copy and paste the folder into Patti / "saved games" folder or some other Patti folder you don't use much. They will not disappear from your desktop.
All the best Patti![]()
... and thank you to ImaBrokeDude for his extra help here.
Lee, thank you so much for talking to me. Would you please unblock me from your messages so I can explain things to you. You have been SO GREAT!, u just don't know what it meant to me.
I didn't plan on making another rescue disk, I am trying to write down all the directions for everything we did, so I wanted to write those directions down too I understand about putting things in a file you don't see again. I have pics of my Mom when she was very sick and then the funeral. Well I don't care to have one of them pop up on the screen, so I do have a folder somewhere of that. .Thank you so much, Patti

How come when I click on the external drive, it doesn't pull up my programs where I can recognize? How could I pull up my spreadsheet on Microsoft excel if I had to?
There should be nothing on your external hard drive now except the Reflect ISO and the Hallmark card thingy you saved.
If you wish to explore the Reflect ISO, just right-click it and tick the W7 box in the window that opens and click on OK. Any of the folders in there can be explored but I have no idea in what folder your Excel spreadsheet is. It will be in the same folder it is in on your PC.
Just out of curiosity, how could I access my info by the way you say. I have to open drive J>then drive K and then some other stuff that I don't remember, but I didn't know I had a drive K. I thought all the info was on my external drive which is drive J. Just wondering

When you explorer your Reflect ISO image, it emulates a drive being there so explorer to see it.
Drive J: is a real drive while Drive K: is a Virtual Drive.
When you are in the K drive on the top right corner of explorer there is a search bar.

In there for excel document types *.xls or *.xlsx then press Enter.
