I am new to the site but I have been checking out the site and doing some research for a problem I have noticed lately. In the last two weeks I have had 4 times where I could not get the computer to shut down without hard reboot (pushing and holding power button). Two windows that kept popping up were iexplorer.exe and dvdlauncher. Another one said something to the effect of ShellHiddenIcon. I have also noticed it is taking quite a bit longer than it used to to go from restart to ready to use on a routine basis.
I have installed and run spybot and ad- aware then restarted and did the following hjt log (man, it kind of sounds like I know what I'm doing but I learned all this lingo and process from your forums). Any help, including advice not related to topics above, would be greatly appreciated:
