dolphins,

Your avatar is entered as ftp://i.dslr.net/alib/51/458051.2.gif
Ftp isn't supported for avatars as far as I know. Needs to be a regular http link.

Or you can upload it from your hard drive using the Browse button in My Controls, Avatar settings.

All I see is a red X. I saw my avatar for a second when I reloaded it and then it went back to the red X.

I see the red-X. Using IE. Never have figured out which setting would fix this, or should I say, never have spent the time to look for the answer. Hope someone else knows!!

Ok, I googled & here's what Microsoft has to say about it:

http://support.micro...om/?kbid=283807

hth

I actually had this happen to me earlier today (in a different way) when trying to paste a small Excel table into an Outlook email, that uses Word. I did a paste special as a bitmap and could view it just fine, but printing the Sent email resulted in an empty box with a red-X.

EDIT: Thanks, Tom - I can see it now

dolphins - nice avatar!

Normally I block Third Party Cookies but my son must have enabled them (just checked) so that's not the problem. As I mentioned above I can see it now but the animation is not working.
