Notes:
1/ F11 was done, restored to factory settings
2/ after that there was problem with uninstalling. I wanted to uninstall Norton Internet Security, but when selected, I was getting this message - "Uninstall or change an application Microsoft Windows" - sic - Windows, not NIS! In fact I was getting that message for every application I wanted to remove
3/ I used Norton_Removal_tool.exe to get rid of Norton. I disappeared from the Desktop, list in Control Panel, etc., but I'm not 100% sure if it's gone
4/ still the #1 problem exists - I'm afraid to remove (click continue) any application as I think it may remove my Windows - am I right?

Please help.

Thank you,

Pumex
