I've been paranoid of the computers performance, and seem it is infected. I have reviewed many methods and steps to do to help my situation. But I think I would love the support of an actual tech helping me with this task :wavey: . I will follow everything down to the last direction, I just need to get this comp back on track. I do have Hijackthis, so I can post a log if necessary. Thank you in response! :woot:

Anti-virus Software: The Shield Deluxe 2009( constantly updates itself everyday lol)

Any tips of free anit-spy/mal/ad/virus software would be greatly obliged!! :notworthy:

Please run this free online virus scanner from ESET
  • Note: You will need to use Internet explorer for this scan
  • Tick the box next to YES, I accept the Terms of Use.
  • Click Start
  • When asked, allow the activex control to install
  • Click Start
  • Make sure that the option Remove found threats is ticked, and the option Scan unwanted applications is checked
  • Click Scan
  • Wait for the scan to finish
  • Use notepad to open the logfile located at C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
  • Copy and paste that log as a reply to this topic
