This is the Hijack This log. This is my work computer, just recently someone downloaded Firefox. Everytime i use Google.com all the results come up as the same sites: www.article-town.com, energy.bullfrogmarketing.com, www.monstermarketplace.com, www.areaconnect.com, ect ect. They will act like the item i searched for, but it will not be the site i want. All the sites seem to have virus style prompts telling me i need to download this or that. Also the same for yahoo.com. I had to go to Dogpile.com to get a good search going. I am not sure what is causing this. I have ran Spybot search and destroy and Symantec Virus Protection(my works choice of virus protection) and they do not pick up the problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi there before I can proceed could you inform me as to whether this is your personal computer or does it belong to your company ? As if it is a company owned one and you have an IT department it would be best to let them repair it, as there may be confidential data on there that my scans may reveal.

However if it is your computer that you use for work then let me know as I have a starting fix prepared
