This is a 3 month old HP G60-120US running Windows Vista. I have massive problems with IE7 and FF crashing without any notice and without an error log. Everything is updated. I run AVG 7.5 and Glary Utilities to clean things up and have run defrag and disk cleanup from Vista but nothing seems to help.

Hi, and Welcome to WhatTheTech :)

Apologies in the delay in a response. We are overwhelmed with logs at the moment and there aren't enough helpers to go around. If you still require help, please do the following:

Please download DDS and save it to your desktop.
  • Disable any script blocking protection
  • Double click dds.scr to run the tool.
  • When done, DDS.txt will open.
  • Click Yes at the next prompt for Optional Scan.
  • Save both reports to your desktop.
—————————————————
  • Post the contents of the DDS.txt report in your next reply
  • Attach the Attach.txt report to your post by scrolling down to the Attachments area and then clicking Browse. Browse to where you saved the file, and click Open and then click UPLOAD.
Please describe how your computer is behaving at the moment, listing any symptoms and problems that you are experiencing.

Thanks.
Hope I am doing this correct. I have been getting a little help from one of your other members. I have updated my Java and removed all add-on's from both IE and FF. I been having other internet problems since I did that so I haven't had a lot of time to test run the new setups so I will keep you informed as to the results.
