Hi rsre15,

Let's start with getting the vulnerable java updated, then we'll have a deeper look.

Please download JavaRa to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder
  • Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions.
  • Accept any prompts.
  • Open JavaRa.exe again and select Search For Updates.
  • Select Update Using Sun Java's Website then click Search and click on the Open Webpage button. Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for your computer.

Download and save to your desktop, RSIT by random/random
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (will be maximized) and info.txt (will be minimized)
Note: These logs will open in notepad. Please ensure that word wrap is unchecked. In notepad click format, uncheck word wrap if it is checked.

Thanks

Hi rsre15,

Sorry about that. There was a bug in the copy of FileLook I had you use, it didn't preform the complete search. The bug has been fixed so I'll get you to delete the copy you have and download a new copy.

Use the same instructions as you did before, but copy and paste the text in the below code box
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\EENGINE\EraserUtilRebootDrv.sys
NAVENG.Sys /s
NavEx15.Sys /s
C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\SAVRT.SYS
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers\SYMEVENT.SYS

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mrtRate.sys
C:\WINDOWS\System32\DRIVERS\wanatw4.sys
c:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpdtlk02.dll

Please post the results.

Thanks and have a Happy Holiday Season.
