hi,

we will get and run two downloads. sdfix and Malwarebytes or MBAM.
Sdfix only runs in safe mode. run it first followed by MBAM.
after you run the above, rescan and get a new hjt log also. post all three logs (SDfix,MBAM, HJT)

links and directions:

Sdfix:
Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.

http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe

Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

* Restart your computer
* After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
* Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
* Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
* Choose your usual account.

* Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
* Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
* It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
* Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
* When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
* Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
* Finally paste the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum with a new HijackThis log

Anti-malwarebytes(MBAM):

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt

please post the MBAM log in reply
Shelf Life im TRULY sorry like you would not belive but i already started going through a cleaning process on this machine.
I have a few new clients that i build sites for and a couple of them ery much dont understand why a website isnt JUST ADD WATER,
so they have been hounding me to get things done and here i am at the final two days to completion, when i get these stupid infections

So i appologize for jumping the gun on waiting for your support. belive me, i was MORE then willing to wait the probable 5 days of NOT using this machine.
I have others i can use, but with these web clients being a painful group of womem…….well……i think ive said enough about them lol

However i AM going to post a new HJT log below so you can see it.
Youll also see whats running to keep things secure on this machine right now.

Its not slowing, i have no popups, and it seems to be normal. Its been restarted twice already since i cleared things up with the tools
and the someone knowledge i have of an HJT log.
Ok so
Vundofix
Malwarebits
Spywareblaster
Spybot Search and Destroy
Lavasoft Adaware ( Free version )
Registry Mechanic
Spyware Doctor
Bugoff
Sysclean

These are the things i keep on hand to handle these badboys and its been a while since i needed to

Im posting the latest HJT log just so you can see it and let me know if something is still lurking
but i wont know for sure about performance on this machine until after i do another DEFRAG soon.
belive it or not, and this may just be me, but i honestly feel that even after doing all these fixits
its important to have people do a registry cleaning ( reg mechanic )
and THEN do a defrag when they think its al cleared up
then do a restart to see if anything pops up.

Here is the log and THANK you so much for your help on this one
**PS the only thing i see as a passable threat is this item in the list**

hi,

no problem. hjt log looks ok to me. you can have hjt remove that 020 item.
I dont think registry cleaning will improve a computers performance. A defrag. yes
iam not familiar with bug off.
running two or more anitmalware apps that have a real time protection (always running in the background) can drag down system resources.
you would see the icons by the clock if this was the case.

some info for you:

Reducing Your Risk:
The Short Version

1) Keep your OS,(Windows) browser (IE, FireFox) and other Software up to date to "patch" vulnerabilities.
2) Know what you are installing to your computer. Alot of software can come bundled with unwanted add-ons.
3) Install and keep them all updated: one antivirus and two or three anti-malware applications. If not updated they will soon be worthless.
4) Refrain from clicking on links or attachments you receive via E-Mail, IM, Chat Rooms or Social Sites, no matter how tempting or legitimate the message may seem.
5) Don't click on ads/pop ups or offers from websites requesting that you install software to your computer. Do you trust the website?
6) Don't click on offers to "scan" your computer.
7) Set up and use limited accounts for everyday use, rather than administrator accounts.
8) Install a third party software firewall.
9) Consider using an alternate browser and E-mail client.
10) If your habits include: warez,or p2p file sharing then you are much more likely to encounter malicious code. Do you trust the source?

happy safe surfing out there
