[Resolved] koobface worm IE not working

It appears by clicking on the link from a friend's facebook email, I have the Koobface worm/virus. I have run Malwarebytes' Anti Malware and got rid of a bunch of stuff, but my IE won't work. It just hangs. I have installed Hijack this on that PC. Anyone have any ideas how to fix IE? Email, etc.. still working.

I used the Reinstallation DVD of Windows Vista and IE will go to direct sites now (www.google.com, www.espn.com) but searching in google and clicking on other links still gives us the redirect from time to time to some other random site, which I know is a symptom of the koobface worm. I suggest you do this: Uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel." Click "Add or Remove Programs." Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box. Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove." Now if IE 6 works ok, try downloading IE7 again.

I am on Vista. I researched this and I guess you can't really uninstall IE7 on Vista. It doesn't show up in Add Remove Programs anyway. I thought about going to IE8 beta?
