I have not long sorted out my PC with tech help on this site which was very good and appreciated (See- DEEWOO ! Please help HJT Log pasted, Malware adware pop up city)

My PC is running a lot better now. However I do still get pop ups. I like to use Onclickvideos.com which seems to be the culprit (i dont think i get pop ups otherwise) and even though i use Mozilla Firefox and popups are blocked. I tried Noscript and MVPS Host but then couldn't get movies on.

Anyway am rambling below is my hjt log if anyone is available to examine it to see if Ihave got plagued again. I havent done anything else or deleted anything etc.

Thanks

I'd like you to download a file for me and let me know if your security program blocks it, deletes it, or just ignores it. The file in question is the Eicar test file and is simply a string of characters that poses no threat to your PC. You can find more about it here: http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm
The link to the file is http://www.eicar.org/download/eicar.com

The problem is that your PC has inadequate security installed. The only program you have is a-squared Free 2.1, which unfortunately doesn't run in real-time. If it did, the Eicar test virus would have been detected and deleted when you downloaded it. This means that although a-squared will detect malware when you run a scan, in between times anything you come across will install and run wild and free on your PC with no checks. You need a proper anti-virus and also a firewall in order to safely run a PC and you have neither. While I can provide links to free examples of both, you can't run them and assume that your machine is malware free, even if it seems to be. It is one thing to keep malware off of a machine, another to undo damage that may have been done by that malware. The best advice I have is that you back up any important files and then reformat and reinstall your OS. Before you do this, I suggest you also arrange some security programs. If you download the installation files before you go reformat, you can install them before you go back online which will cut down on the risks to your computer. If you want the links, let me know.
