Well, let's run another scan and see if I can see what's doing it.

Please download DDS and save it to your desktop.

• Disable any script blocking protection
• Double click dds.scr to run the tool.
• When done, DDS.txt will open.
• Click Yes at the next prompt for Optional Scan.
• Save both reports to your desktop.

Hello, eveything seems to be running good. I just have a few isses. I had to uninstall McAfee while we were working on this mess because it was messed up and woundnt let me turn it off. I have comcast which provides the service free. I have tried 4 times to reinstall and it fails every time. AVG isn't showing in your log. Did you install it after running DDS?
McAfee SecurityCenter is showing. If you installed AVG, you need to uninstall McAfee.

Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malicious sites can use to exploit and infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update:

• Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version 6 and save it to your desktop.
• Scroll down to where it says "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 11…allows end-users to run Java applications".
• Click the "Download" button to the right.
• Select your Platform: "Windows".
• Select your Language: "Multi-language".
• Read the License Agreement, and then check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
• Click Continue and the page will refresh.
• Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation and save the file to your desktop.
• Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
• Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u11-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

Now to Clean out the Java cache:

Go into the Control Panel and double-click the Java Icon. [external image: Posted Image]

• Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Settings… button
• click the Delete Files button.
• There are three options in the window to clear the cache - Leave all 3 Checked
  
  • Downloaded Applets
    Downloaded Applications
    Other Files
• Click OK on Delete Temporary Files Window
  Note: This deletes ALL the Downloaded Applications and Applets from the CACHE.
• Click OK to leave the Temporary Files Settings
• Click OK to leave the Java Control Panel.

Using Add/Remove programs in your control panel, please locate and uninstall the following:
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2
Java™ 6 Update 2
Java™ 6 Update 3
Java™ 6 Update 5
Java™ 6 Update 7
Java™ SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1

OK It seems that there is a problem somewhere with downloads. Java will not install either. It says it cant be verified. I tried a few times……….I did install AVG and uninstall McAfee after that scan. I had no problem installing AVG..

I was just about to reply back to you. I went to Microsofts website and I was able to fix Windows installer. I can now see what is trying to install when my computer boots. It says it is Photo Gallery and is looking for photogallery.msi….Should I still run DDS? Otherwise everything is running smoothly….Thanks

Nope. A running installer is what I was looking for. You can delete DDS.

Did you run Windows Installer CleanUp Utility?
