I´m a new user and I´ve never really posted anything here, but I just want to make sure of something:

Recently my computer suffered an infection with the jksearch.biz, I was reading some other topics and found the way to take it out, but I really don´t know if I´m clean, here´s my log:

Could somebody please tell me if I got a problem?

Thank you guys!
Greeting and welcome to TomCoyote.com!!!

The log looks like you did a fantastic job removing "jksearch.biz"!!!

The browser looks to be "unhijacked".

However, you do have something that needs your urgent attention.

You have a "password stealing" trojan on your pc.

This entry:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Services Process] C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\services.exe

Denotes you are infected with this trojan:

http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/trojsmallv.html

I notice you have Symantec products on your machine. I would first suggest to make sure your virus definitions are up to date, then do a full system scan.

If that doesn't find anything (or can't remove the trojan), please try a free online scan/removal from Trend-Micro (use the link in my signature).

After removing the trojan, please run Hijack This! again and post a new log file into this thread. Sometimes when these trojans die they can spawn other problems before the completely go away. :)
Hi!!!

Many thanks for the answer to my request, well, I did everything you´re suggesting and here´s the new log:

Ok, I guess that entry is no more on the log, but I checked with Windows Explorer and I´m still seeing a program file called "services" on the System32/Config Folder.

Please let me know if it is ok.

Thanks again!!!!!
Now that the virus scans have removed the trojan entry from your registry (so it doesn't run whenever you start your machine), you can now delete this folder:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config
<— folder

The latest log looks very good! ;)

Just one more thing (that you've probably already considered if not done already), since that trojan monitored keystrokes on your machine and possibly sent them to a server somewhere, it would be wise to consider changing any passwords you have typed in while online because they may have been compromised.

Other sensitive data you possibly have typed online (such as credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc.) may have also been compromised.

Good work!!

Surf safe!!

GOD bless!!!!

M68 :)
Glad we could help :D
