can't open browsers at certain times

Several times I have had to "restore "my computer to an earlier time because of some undetermined malware- not seen by any of my Virus detection, firewalls or spyware systems. I have Hijack this but need to learn how to effectively use the logs generated. Need help in the worst way!!!
