PC acts faulty, apps screwy

My daughter's PC, in the last few days, does not auto-shut down as it should and used to using Salfeld's Child Control. Another app, "Computer Time" has been acting erratically. A couple of days ago when she logged on, the PC did not bring up her desktop but acted as if she were a new user.

Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite 8 something shows no malware; Spybot shows nothing. My girl, 15 yrs, uses Limewire, MySpace. I also have installed Spectorsoft Pro which monitors activity (keylog, pictures etc).

Want to get some expert look-at before I reinstall the OS.

I would like to see a copy of the files in bold.

Click start / then my computer / local disk then follow the process tree.
Or using Windows Explorer, locate the first file you want to zip.
Right click on the file and select Send To and Compressed (zipped) Folder.
This makes a copy it does not delete it.
