My husband used a temp while his secretary was on maternity leave and now our computer is a wreck. I downloaded and ran "Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware" which removed 51 infections and "Spybot S&D" which removed an additional 32. Trend Micro Internet Security will not update or run and I have not been able to get Housecall, Kaspersky or any other online scanner to run. The computer is verrry slow and most programs, like Word, will open but within a few seconds I see "not responding" in the title bar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Glassz

Welcome to the Whatthetech Malware Removal Forum, sorry about the delay, but the amount of people posting with infected computers is through the roof and sometimes we can't get to logs as fast as we would like to.

I would like to see the report from Malwarebytes please, you can find it here
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

Outside of a few minor fixes your HJT log does not look to bad, run this program, it won't fix anything but will give a nice system report.

  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<info.txt (<
