spyware warning

i keep getting spyware popping up from my toolbar warning me i have a spyware probelm. then i get loads of internet explorer pop ups. i am running every virus scan i can to find it but i cant accsess it. any ideas? i also used the hijacker but i dont understand what i am ment to do
