here is my log file from hjt my pc seems to be working fine exept i cant get the active desktop off and the desktop back to A pic? ran atf cleaner and mbam I saved log from mbam as well if needed

Please post the MBAM log in your next reply.

You appear to be running both Avast! AntiVirus and AVG8 AntiVirus. Running multiple anti-virus programs at the same time is not recommended as they may cause conflicts and will slow down your system. I highly recommend that you uninstall one of them immediately.


You have WebHancer installed on your computer. Please read the following information about the program:
WebHancer Foistware

I recommend you uninstall this program. To do this, please click Start >> Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs.
Locate WebHancer on the list and click Remove.


We need to upload a file to Jotti

1. Click HERE to get to Jotti's site.

2. At the top of the Jotti window, use the Browse button to locate the following file on your system:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\pushow7.dll

3. Once you have located the file, click SUBMIT and the content of the file will be uploaded by the site and analysed.

4. Please provide me with the results of the analysis.

5. Please repeat steps 2-4 for this file (if present):

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
  • Close all applications and windows.
  • Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
  • When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
  • Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and the extra.txt in your reply.

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Follow this link in Internet Explorer (Note: You must use Internet explorer to use Kaspersky): Kaspersky WebScanner

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky,
Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make sure that the following are selected:
    o Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
    o Scan Options:
    Scan Archives Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:
    Select My Computer
  • The program will start and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
    o Now click on the Save as Text button:
  • Save the file to your desktop.
Please post the results of the Kaspersky scan in your next reply.

We have noticed that most people seeking help from us are coming with infections contracted from the use of P2P programs.

  • Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the "Paste Standard List of Files/Folders to Move" window (under the light blue bar) and choose Paste.
  • Click the red Moveit! button.
  • Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar) to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy), and paste it in your next reply.
  • Close OTMoveIt2
Note: If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes. In this case, after the reboot, open Notepad (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad), click File->Open, in the File Name box enter *.log and press the Enter key, navigate to the C:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles folder, and open the newest .log file present, and copy/paste the contents of that document back here in your next post.

  • Double-click DirLook.exe to run it.
  • Ensure that Show Hidden Files/Folders and BBCode Ouput are both checked.
  • Copy the content of the following codebox into the main textfield:

    C:\Program Files\vghd
  • Click the DirLook button to start the scan.
  • When finished, a notepad window will open with the results of the scan. Please post this log in your next reply. (Note: The log can also be found at C:\dl_log.txt)
Note: Scanning may take longer for large folders.


Backup Your Registry with ERUNT
  • Please use the following link and scroll down to ERUNT and download it.
    http://aumha.org/freeware/freeware.php
  • For version with the Installer:
    Use the setup program to install ERUNT on your computer
  • For the zipped version:
    Unzip all the files into a folder of your choice.
Click Erunt.exe to backup your registry to the folder of your choice.

Note: To restore your registry, go to the folder and start ERDNT.exe

Please do this:
  • Copy the contents of the Code Box below to Notepad.
  • Name the file as fix.reg
  • Change the Save as Type to All Files
  • and Save it on the desktop
