Good Afternoon, I feel like Princess Lea - 'you are my only hope'

Have picked up Virtumonde which has made my PC very slow and am not now able to log on under normal accounts and am having to use safe mode with networking.

I have tried :

Vundofix : detects but cannot delete DLLs even on reboot
Spybot Search & Destroy : Detects, Fixes DLLs, but they come back
Spyware Doctor (full licence) : Detects 4 registry issues, fixes but are always still there on reboot.

The registry bits that SD detects are :

Registry Value
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\MS JUAN, RID
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\MS TRACK, UID

Registry Key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\MS JUAN
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\MS TRACK SYSTEM

From what I've read in other posts I have 2 Virtumonde files in my Windows\System32 folder :
ssqNGWnL.dll
oyalegap.dll

But I cannot delete these as PC says they are in use elsewhere

Now at end of my tether and need help - please help :pullhair:

Thank you.

Hello

Please download Runscanner to your desktop and run it.
  • When the first page comes up select Beginner Mode
  • On the next page select Save a binary .Run file (Recommended) then click Start full scan at the top.
  • At this time Runscanner.exe may request access to the Internet through your firewall please allow it to do so, it will then run for two or three minutes.
  • On completion it will ask for a location to save the file and a name. It will do this for both the .run file and the log file
  • Call the .run file "runscan" and save it to your desktop. You will see the .run file on your desktop. Upload that .run file here. If the forum doesn't let you upload it then please zip the .run file by right clicking and selecting send to Zip file

Then upload that as an attachment in your next post (you have to zip the .run file to upload it here).
Hello

Download the attachment at the end of this post (this will be your runscanner file fixed by me)

  • Unzip it to your desktop then double click the runscanner icon this will run the program.
  • You will notice several entries in red.
  • Click the button at the top called Fix selected items
  • Accept the warning(s) and repeat until they are all gone.
  • Reboot your PC

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • If your anti-virus or firewall complains, please allow this script to run as it is not malicious.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt – please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

Hello, had a few issues this time . . . in view of your comments about safe mode, I tried to execute your instructions under my normal account and I did log on under it without difficulty - which is a big improvement ! I'm assuming from now on I should not use Safe Mode unless you tell me ?

Ran the OTMoveIt2 which did terminate in an application error right at the end, but it did seem to do eveything. Here is the log :

Then successfully started the Kaspersky scanner and downloaded all updates. After an hour of scanning it had completed 60% but could tell the PC was running slow. Left it over night and it had done 64% so powered down PC and am now running the scanner in safe mode - up to 58% after 38mins and has found 10 viruses and 30 infected objects. Will post the results when I get home from work.
Thank you for your continued help with this - I really appreciate it.
