Just to add to that, I've noticed Windows media player is running really slow even if the SVChost file isn't using most of the CPU. the graphics it displays when playing a song really struggle to run smoothly unless I put an exlporer window infront of it, then it runs at normal speed in the backgroud.
I've just been ripping my CDs to my machine and it seems that causes the svchost files to hit 100%, is this normal? It make s the rip take a lot longer than it has in the past.
Even when hot running media player it still seems as though the machine is running pretty slow to me
Thanks
Lee
