[Resolved] Trojan-Downloader and Trojan-win32

I have been getting a couple of virus notifications and ZoneAlarm Security Suite keeps quarantining them. I delete them from the quarantine list, but later on as the virus checker does its scan, the same two come up again.

Is there another program that I can run to delete the virus so that it does not replicate again?

My firewall/antivirus program ZoneAlarm Security Suite at least 6 time a day indicates the a file has been quarantined. The files consist of about 2 types:
Trojan-PSW.Win32,OnLineGames.akdn
Trojan-Downloader.Win32>Zlob.ofw
They are all located in C:\system Volume Information\_restore(060C01-4577-419D-916C-2F62C5E372E)\RP902\Axxxxxx.sys and .dll

I have tried SuperAntispy 4.15.1000, but that did not work to remove them (or it).

Please delete any HijackThis Folders and Files you have now.

There's a new version of HijackThis.

Click the "Save" button.

Please put your HijackThis in it's own folder, (I create a new folder in C:\ named HJT).
You can do a Right Click on any open area on the desktop, New> Folder, then rename the folder HJT.

Open HijackThis and select: Do a system scan and save a log file.

When the scan is finished, Click Edit> Select All> Edit> Copy> and paste its contents here [Add Reply].

You need To disable TeaTimer, it can stop our fix.

The best way is to do both, Right click the system tray icon and shut down. This will reset TT's registry snapshot. Then, open spybot in advanced mode and turn it off. When cleaning is done, open Spybot in advanced mode to turn back on.

Once fix is completed in the all clear post!!

Stay with this topic until I give you the all clean post.

You might want to print these instructions out.

I suggest you do this:

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Please do not delete anything unless instructed to.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two.

Next:

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected .
When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location and post the results.
Note: If you receive a notice that some of the items couldn't be removed, that they have been added to the delete on reboot list, please reboot.

Also "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Good. Only spyware found so far.

Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, please delete it from your desktop and download this new version . It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

Close any open browsers and make sure you are disconnected from the net. Unplug the cable if need be before running combofix.
WARNING: IF you have not already done so Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet when it starts
Please do not re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.

Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a report for you.
Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review

****Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall or freeze ****

*If there is no internet connection when Combofix has completely finished then restart your computer to restore back the connections.

Give it atleast 20-30 minutes to finish

Neither of the software from the sites worked, I got an out of date error message, please download a current version. Then the software was deleted from the desktop.

The second one works for me. Did you select "save" and save it to your desktop? Do you have an older version of Combofix?

I edited my post to more accurately indicate what happened. Both sites downloaded a version but when selected both gave the error message that the software was out of date and then each software was deleted from the desk top. I don't believe that I have that software on the pc, prior to this morning. Close COMBOFIX.EXE-374CA878.pf in windows\prefetch
