[Resolved] Several trojans on my PC

Have found various trojans in AdAware, SpyBot S&D and Spyware Doctor.
Wondered why my PC was so slow!!

Hi GuyD,

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop (right-click the link, select Save Target As…, select your Desktop and press Save)

• Close all applications and windows.
• Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
• When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
• Make sure Format->Word Wrap is unchecked
• Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your reply

Once complete, please post both DSS logs, you won't need to produce a new HijackThis log as DSS produces one for you.

I think that I have managed to delete several nasties (trogan.virtumonde; trogan.downloader.dia.a) but would appreciate it if you would check the DSS logs.

Temporarily disable Spybot's TeaTimer. This is a two step process.

• Right-click the Spybot Icon in the System Tray (looks like a blue/white calendar with a padlock symbol)
• If you have the new version 1.5, Click once on Resident Protection, then Right click the Spybot icon again and make sure Resident Protection is now Unchecked. The Spybot icon in the System tray should now be now colorless.
• If you have Version 1.4, Click on Exit Spybot S&D Resident

Computer definitely seems to be happier now although there still seems to be a lot of processes running in the background and I can hear the Hard Drive intermittently firing up.
