Good morning, Ken545! Again, I attempted to do what you asked me to do. I got all the way to the All Users box. These were the only items present in it. Desktop, Favorites, Shared Documents, Start Menu and another item which was ntuser DAT File 256 KB. I didn't see an Application folder to click on or the xwxifsvm item you wanted me to remove. Denise

Ken545, it was obviously that you were seeing that xwxifsvm file and I wasn't. My thing is I just went back over the last HJT log that I pasted to you before paws came into my room. But what I don't get is why didn't you tell me that it was located between those two HKCU and the HKUS data. This could have been solved sooner. I am very tired and frustrated when I get on my computer. Not that it's your fault but if you see something and I don't please feel free to tell me where it's located exactly. Don't assume I know how to do things that are so simple. For we all knows that when something is so simple to a person it just might not be as simple to others. There are many factors that is brought into a situations. I know you are frustrated w/ me as well. I can read it in your text to me which I'm woman enough to admit my part in this situations we have gotten ourselves in. I do appreciate your help. Like I said I'm just tired of this trojan and want my computer fixed. I'm about to just call it quit. So it's up to you if you want to come back and help me or not. Or feel free to pass me on to someone else who haven't lost their patience w/ me. Thanks, Denise

Hey Denise, Like I said before its not a problem helping you, just keep in mind that I like many of the other helpers help out in many forums and at the present time I believe I have around 40 people I am helping so sometimes my replies are brief.....nothing against you kiddo :) Whenever we ask you to remove an item with HJT and we list it its kind of up to you to scroll through the list and find the entry and remove it. The good news is that its gone  How is your system running now ??????

It's running but still takes forever to load up and it disconnects on its own.

Denise,

System Restore makes backups off all your settings including the files and entries we just removed, if you restore your computer to a previous date you take the chance of putting all that bad stuff back on your system.

Why don't you post in one of this forums for slow computers, I will keep this one open in case you need to post back.

I have a laptop w/ an internal wireless card. It shows that I am connected to Wlan but when I click on Internet Explorer it comes back that the server can't be found.
