OK, I have the kavo and tavo.exe. I looked at some of the other threads and I'm comfortable with using HJT, but I didn't understand CF so I have to ask for help.

I also found a keylogger file on my computer that seems to be designed to capture warcraft account info so people can steal/sell them. I don't play this game so that's not a concern, but its logging all keystrokes. I have changed all my bank info etc on another computer. The file name is RICHTX32.log and I've changed it to read only, if I delete it, it comes back. As read only it no longer seems to be logging anything but I have no idea what processes are associated with it. It is in the windows/system32 directory on C.

Here is the HJT log.

Oh, I forgot to include, I ran ATF already as directed to do so in the self help thread, and Malwarebyte's Anti Malware, but it came back. I was using a kl detector to look for keyloggers, it pointed to svhost.log in the c:/windows directory, but I'm not sure if thats malicious or just logging errors. When i look at the file its a bunch of gibberish. Here's the Malware log though. EDIT - I had the HJT log but i switched it to the mal one, sorry. You didn't set the scan options correctly.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\kavo0.dll (Rootkit.Agent) -> No action taken.

Ok, as soon as I select remove selected the computer instantly shuts down. I cant grab a log before it does. Im not sure if its fixing anything or not, but when I re scan its the same as it was before. I selected fix button, it reboot the computer, did this three times. This is it again before I hit the fix selected button. Remove your internet connection

Restart your computer in Safe Mode.

Press F8 after the Power-On Self Test (POST) is done. If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, try restarting and then pressing F8 several times after the POST screen.
Choose the Safe Mode option from the Windows Advanced Options Menu then press Enter.
This can take several miniutes to load.

Now run the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware scan following the previous instructions.

After the above, reconnect your internet connection, reboot normal and post the requested logs.

Please go to http://virusscan.jotti.org , click on Browse, and upload the following file for analysis:

D:\Program Files\Rupture\Rupture.exe

Then click Submit. Allow the file to be scanned, and then please copy and paste the results here for me to see.

If Jotti is too busy you can try these.

Ahh, I should have explained that. Its a beta program that tracks Xbox live and gaming profiles then adds them to a website. I'm willing to trust it 100 percent as I know the guys who work at the company and wrote the program. I can delete it if you're weary. I'll go toss it in those sites now though and see what they have to say.

If you know it's safe then don't worry about it

Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, please delete it from your desktop and download this new version . It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
--------------------------------------------------------------------
  • Close any open browsers and make sure you are disconnected from the net. Unplug the cable if need be before running combofix.
  • WARNING: IF you have not already done so Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet when it starts
  • Please do not re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a report for you.
Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review

****Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall or freeze ****

*If there is no internet connection when Combofix has completely finished then restart your computer to restore back the connections.

Give it atleast 20-30 minutes to finish
